Weak Flesh, Strong Savior

This morning we finish John 13 by looking at verses 36-38. In these verses we see passion and zeal alongside perspective and mercy. In Peter’s words we see great zeal for the Lord and a desire to follow Him wherever He goes. This zeal, though, is clouded by pride. Jesus aims to bring perspective and His unique mercy to Peter by showing him his own weakness in order that He might understand even more his need for Christ.
