An Encouraging Word

Today we look at John 14:1-3. In these verses we find Jesus, as The Good Shepherd, comforting His sheep. The disciples are mourning and the mood of the room is one of sadness, sorrow and frustration. Jesus, reading the room, offers words of promise that are meant to encourage and uplift. Words that are ultimate meant to point toward Himself and remind His disciples that they belong to Him. Join us as we look to Jesus’ words in order to understand what it means to be comforted in the midst of mourning.
