Fortunate or Blessed

We continue to walk through Genesis 47 this evening by looking at verses 13-31. Here we find the Egyptians struggling to make it through the famine while Jacob and his family flourish. In this account we, once again, see Joseph as a type of Christ. He presents grace to both the Egyptians and His family but only His family truly see the source of this gift, their God. In missing God, the Egyptians fail to enjoy the fullness of salvation, settling for salvation from a famine when that could have had so much more. Join us as we look at these verses and seek to understand the contract between the Egyptians and Jacob.
